Reflected Power was painted during the Art in Action event in Seguin. The piece captures the historic power plant along the water, where warm red rooflines and pale stucco walls shimmer across the river’s surface in loose, broken reflections.

Painted outdoors from observation, this study focuses on atmosphere and light more than architectural precision. The soft edges, layered reflections, and filtered greenery create a calm contrast to the industrial history of the building itself. The changing light on the water became just as important as the structure, turning the entire scene into a study of color and reflection.
