Painted during the Eureka Springs Plein Air Festival Quick Draw event, this piece captures the quiet water and rolling hills surrounding Beaver Lake, with the bridge stretching across the center of the scene beneath soft Arkansas light.

Quick Draw events require fast decisions and even faster painting, which gives the piece a loose, immediate quality. The calm water, distant hills, and simple geometry of the bridge created a strong sense of balance against the surrounding landscape. Painted outdoors from observation during the limited-time competition.
