Painted during my residency with Alta Community Enrichment in Alta, Utah, this piece captures a quiet moment tucked into the landscape—where wildflowers take over without much concern for paths or plans. Scattered rocks and soft layers of yellow and white blooms create a natural rhythm, drawing the eye deeper into the greenery.

There’s a sense of wandering in this scene—of slowing down just enough to notice the small, bright things that would otherwise be missed. It’s less about a specific place and more about the feeling of finding something unexpectedly beautiful and deciding to stay a little longer.
