A loose and lively field study inspired by the chaos of spring wildflowers. Painted with quick marks and layered color, this piece leans into movement more than precision — the feeling of standing in a meadow while everything sways at once. Bright red blooms push through clusters of soft white flowers against a deep green backdrop, creating a painting that feels energetic, overgrown, and unmistakably seasonal.

Painted outdoors during my artist residency through Alta Community Enrichment in Alta, where the mountain landscape and short alpine summer were overflowing with wildflowers and shifting weather.
